↑ Back to contentsYou must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Where the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to have your data processed, that age applies instead — it is 16 in the United Kingdom and California, 14 in Korea, and between 13 and 16 across the EU.
There is no route into Zeno24 for anyone under 13. We do not offer a parental-consent path, because Zeno24 has no parent or guardian role at all — see the section below.
Zeno24 is peer-to-peer: every person in a circle controls their own sharing. It is not a monitoring product, and nobody in a circle can turn on another person’s location for them.
↑ Back to contentsMany location apps are built for a parent to watch a child, with an account the parent creates and controls. Zeno24 is deliberately not one of them.
Every member of a circle holds their own account and their own switches. A teenager in a family circle is there because they chose to join it, they can see exactly who can see them, and they can stop sharing or leave at any time without asking anyone. Nobody — not the circle owner, not a parent, not us — can turn someone else’s location back on.
This is why the minimum age is a real floor rather than a formality. Building an under-13 experience would mean collecting a child’s precise location, which the law rightly permits only with verifiable parental consent, which in turn requires exactly the parent-controlled account model we chose not to build.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under the minimum age for their country, we delete it and the data collected through it. If you believe a child has an account, write to info@zeno24.com and we will act on it.

One account is signed in on one device at a time. Signing in somewhere new signs you out elsewhere, so that a session you have forgotten cannot keep reporting your location.
↑ Back to contentsA circle is a group of people who share with each other. Everything in the app belongs to a circle: the map, places, alerts and any premium plan.
The person who creates a circle owns it and can rename it, manage its members or delete it. Deleting a circle deletes its places and alerts for everyone in it, and cannot be undone.
You always keep at least one circle. If you want a different one, create it before removing the old.

Zeno24 depends on phones, batteries, operating systems, mobile networks and satellite positioning. Any of these can fail, be switched off, or be wrong. A location can be stale, inaccurate or missing, an alert can arrive late or not at all, and the service can be unavailable.
Do not rely on Zeno24 in an emergency, for anyone’s safety, or as the only way of knowing where someone is. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
We provide the service as it is, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
↑ Back to contentsZeno24 shows you step counts, distance, active energy and exercise minutes that your phone has measured, and lets you compare them with the circle you have chosen to share with. That is all it is.
It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and nothing in it is medical advice. The figures come from your phone’s own sensors and from its health store — Apple Health on iPhone, Health Connect on Android — and they can be wrong, missing or late for the same ordinary reasons a location can be.
Do not use it to make a decision about your health or anyone else’s. For that, ask a doctor.
Health sharing is off until you switch it on, it is answered separately for each circle, and you can switch it off whenever you like.

The web route sends a code to an email address or phone number held on your account, because that is how it knows the request is yours. Signing in with Apple or Google does not put one there — and Apple’s Hide My Email address is one you have never seen. Add an email or phone number in the app under Profile first, or write to info@zeno24.com and we will verify you another way.
Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period: signing back in during that time cancels it. After 30 days your account and its data are removed permanently.
Deleting your account does NOT cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately where you bought it — in your Apple account for an App Store subscription, in your Google account for one bought on Google Play — or you will continue to be charged.
